I have always considered myself as sculptor. In spite of this I have worked with different technics such as etching, painting or drawing, my relationship with the tools I use to express my art have been always used in a sculptural way. I break pencils, place the canvas horizontally on a table or etch manually the masters because I love being in contact with materials, it is a challenge against myself. This challenge has been a constant in my career and directed me to make artistic choices  to adapt my technique  in front of any adversity. I take strength from this to sculpt my artistic career.
I am color-blind, I see the colours in a scale of greys, and this fact conditioned my selection of materials almost exclusively towards construction elements as: concrete, celotex, steel, construction sand or quartz.
I've always read and studied a lot to build my research solidly, and I found the strength I was looking for in the solid and impressive construction of modern cities. The metropolis has always been my inspiration, I play with the geometries and materials in search of that synthesis and strength that the palaces and skyscrapers transmitted to me, buildings from the past  were a strong point to overcome my personal difficulties and today have become the starting point of my research.
In sculpture I try always to follow the lines which I use in my paintings, but to make them more essential. For me it is very important to create the serenity a spectator may find in the work, interacting with my sculpture to find a spiritual peace which links with my Sardinian origins.
